Ice Cream and Extra Virgin Olive Oil: a Winning Combination

Sigep Gelato d'Oro 2019, held every two years in odd-numbered years, is the competition that selects the Italian team that will participate in the IX Gelato World Cup in 2020.


Among the various tests of the competition, this year the contestants will have to try their hand at making an ice cream with extra virgin olive oil .


Sigep Gelato D'Oro takes place at Sigep, the 40th International Exhibition of Artisan Gelato, Pastry, Bakery and Coffee, from 19 to 21 January 2019: the only fair in the world reserved for professionals in the sector, which entirely represents the artisan gelato and confectionery supply chains.
