During the evening, the Paolo Coppini “Love is an olive tree” Award was officially presented, an artistic project created to promote emerging artists. This annual award will give space to those who have the courage and vision to express the world from a different perspective. Each year, a selected artist will pass the baton to a new young talent, creating a chain of creativity and inspiration.
For the zero edition of the award, Isabella Bersellini was chosen, an artist particularly dear to the Coppini family. Isabella was discovered thanks to the Imprese Creative Driven call, a call launched by the Municipality of Parma and the Committee for Parma 2020, with the support of “Parma, io ci sto!” and Unione Parmense degli Industriali, the collaboration of CISITA and the scientific coordination of Promo PA Fondazione. Thanks to this experience, the Coppini family had the opportunity to meet Isabella and other young artists, whose art brought new light and new ideas to the company. These initiatives allow companies to get in touch with creatives and, sometimes, as happened to us, to fall in love with their works.
Isabella was able to capture the essence of the project's initial message, "Life is a state of mind" (a mantra of Paolo), with her extraordinary sensitivity and her way of communicating without filters.
"It was a great emotion and a responsibility to represent the essence of a person I have never met personally, except through the Coppini family and the precious footage of the documentary 'The Man with the Olive Tree' " , declared Isabella Bersellini. "The joy and satisfaction I felt in seeing the emotion of the Coppini family at the moment of delivery of the illustration were immense. For an artist, it is a very beautiful and significant thing."
The evening was further enriched by the evocative musical performance of the Ultrapò Downtown Studios Band , composed of Lisi Roberto, Daniele Zuccotti and Guido Tronconi. Their music created a magical atmosphere, helping to make the event even more special and engaging.
The catering for the event was provided by three companies: ImpastoZero (Medesano), Nuova Pasticceria Lady and La Fata e la Strega (San Secondo Parmense).
An evening dedicated to art, good food, good music and the pleasure of sharing ideas, projects and memories.
"Our company has always considered art as an integral part of our identity," said Francesco Coppini. "Paolo deeply believed in the synergies between art and the world of extra virgin olive oil, promoting a cultural movement that goes beyond the boundaries of simple work. Isabella's illustration will become the label of a limited edition of extra virgin olive oil dedicated to this project, but, very importantly for us, this illustration will kick off a project that will increasingly unite art with the world of oil, rewarding artists who are passionate about this universe that comes from the heart like a big bang."
The Coppini family has announced that in September an open call will be launched, open to all, without age limits, to allow anyone to participate in this artistic project. The goal is to promote a new and vital language, in line with Paolo's vision.
The evening of June 10, 2024 will remain in the hearts of all those present as a moment of great emotion and inspiration, uniting past and future in the name of art and love.
Coppini Arte Olearia… Because art, like oil, nourishes the soul.
