Our Green Olives in Brine are born from a careful selection of Nocellara del Belice , one of the most prized cultivars of Sicily. This variety, cultivated since the times of the Greek colony of Selinunte in the 7th century BC, is renowned for its firm pulp and its rich flavor, perfect both for table consumption and for the production of extra virgin olive oil .
We have perfected the manufacturing process to further enhance the taste and appearance of our olives. Thanks to the new recipe , the olives retain their vibrant green color and are sweeter , without the addition of additives or artificial sweeteners.
The stone is left intact to ensure a firm consistency and an authentic taste, as if freshly picked.
GREEN OLIVES IN BRINE WITH STONES
WEIGHT : net weight 580 g / drained net weight 340 g
INGREDIENTS : Green olives, water, salt. Acidity regulator: lactic acid (E270). Antioxidant: l-ascorbic acid (E300)
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE : before consuming the olives in brine, we recommend draining them from the brine and rinsing them lightly under running water to eliminate the salt flavour. Once this procedure has been carried out, the olives can be consumed as they are as an appetizer or aperitif or used in the preparation of a variety of recipes, added to a sauce or rice salad, to flavour stews or white meat, to add to salads or to vegetables stewed in a pan.
