A sustainable extra virgin olive oil

A green area of 73,000 square meters of which 11,000 are covered: this is the new headquarters of the Opificio Verde, an Environmental Management System compliant with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. It is the plant responsible for bottling products and logistics, with a storage capacity - in a modified atmosphere under nitrogen - of 45,000 hectolitres. From two small wooden crates mounted on a bicycle, to a production site equipped with the most innovative technologies.

Over the years, respect for the environment has always remained a fixed point.
The company is concerned with improving environmental performance, adhering to a strong civic sense. By reducing consumption of energy and natural resources, it favors plants and technologies with less pollution and greater energy efficiency. For the Coppini family, sustainability is not just a word, but a goal to pursue. In the Food Valley, next to the Parma Trade Fair Authority, stands the new Opificio, built with the aim of reducing environmental impact.

Prefabricated panels, superposition of two different insulating materials with different masses: these are the materials used to try to achieve energy self-sufficiency with the use of clean energy.
