Artichokes in oil are one of the most popular preserves in the Italian tradition and are appreciated by many families for their refined taste and versatility.
Coppini Arte Olearia Artichoke Hearts are produced with selected raw materials: fresh Italian artichokes, harvested during the spring season in Puglia, in the province of Brindisi.
As soon as they are picked, the artichokes are turned and defoliated down to the heart, and then blanched in water and vinegar. Once blanched, the artichokes are jarred and preserved in sunflower seed oil, an oil with a delicate flavor that does not alter the taste of the raw material. Thanks to this process, when fresh, the artichokes remain compact and tasty and are crunchy on the palate.
Excellent as an appetizer to accompany cold cuts and cheeses or to garnish cold dishes such as summer salads, rice or chicken salads.
They are ideal to keep in the pantry so you can enjoy artichokes throughout the year.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE : to best enjoy our artichoke hearts in oil, we recommend draining them from their liquid and seasoning them with a drizzle of your favorite Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Olive & Limoni dressing. The artichokes in oil are excellent served as an appetizer or aperitif . They are perfect to accompany bruschetta and finger food, or as a side dish . We recommend using them on freshly baked pizza or even a nice plate of cold pasta.
