Gastronomic September opens with the week dedicated to tomatoes, a month full of events dedicated to the Food Valley supply chains.
The tomato , which in Parma it is transformed by some of the most important Italian canning industries, it is also the main ingredient of one of the most representative dishes of Italian cuisine: pasta with tomato sauce . It is a simple recipe, very easy to make, but not trivial as regards the choice of raw materials.
We provide you with some tips for making a perfect tomato pasta, to find the perfect balance of flavors, the right sweetness starting from the choice of the most suitable type of tomato and the use of the right extra virgin olive oil to match.
